Who said fairy tales were for little kids? This book is a new take on several fairy tales many of us read as children such as The Frog Prince and The Elves and the Shoemaker. The author also includes some lesser knowntales such as The Six Swans and The Salad.
Cloaked is about a boy named Johnny who is approached by a princess named Victoriana. She wants him to find her brother Philippe who has been turned into a frog by a witch. Along the way, Johnny meets a whole host of characters both of the human and animal kind and learns about what he wants for his future in terms of both career and love. I found Cloaked to be an entertaining book that I always looked forward to getting back to!
This is written by the same author who wrote Beastly. Sounds like a great read!
